In reply, I'm going to justify my above input.  I defense of that
information, believe me I do know the differance between hi-end, medium, low
and mediocre quality.  I have two Amiga 4000 systems, one with the Toaster
Flyer, and the other with the Broadcaster 32 system.  There are no fly's on
either sytems output or performance.  Have another sytem with an Amiga 3000
Tower / Toaster system.  A little slower but it works.  Lightwave on each of
these.  Stand alone on the Broadcaster system.  They all work flawlessly and
provide good service.

Now to the case in mind.  I also work on a Pentium with NT 4.0 Beta and a
Lightwave system.  Problem?  Get decent video, i.e. .avi or .mov files from
the other systems past and present projects, along with ones created on the
NT sytem so that they are useable.  14 months of struggle with a Matrox
Marvell II proved a waste of time.  The company refunded my investment and I
did spend it, after research and pouring over reviews with the best bang for
the buck in mind.  Object, to provide finished products that would be usable
in the every day world on Joe Anybody's average computer and or CD system.
Miro DC 20 system provided that.  A no hassel Plug and Play operation that
works.

Granted that a thousand is not cheap, standing on the ground looking up.  It
is cheap, however,  in comparison with a Targa or Fast system, or many
others for that matter.  Comes with Adobe Primier and Photo shop, Asymetrix
3DFX and some other programs.  In all, I consider it a good investment that
gets the job done.  If you're gonna get a job done, you have to have the
tools, more jobs, more tools...No tool, no jogs.

An alternative is the Miro graphics TD20.  Saw them advertised in Tiger
software today for $199.00. It will capture 1/4 screen .avi's on its own
Bought one to go with the capture system two weeks ago for $299.00.
(Original list is about $450.00)  Lost a hundred in a week.  Go figure....
